Conservation Area 

This successful appeal demonstrates the efficient use of ‘airspace’, allowing for 2 studio flats through the creation of an additional storey to an existing 5-storey building. The design of the units fully respects the adjacent Listed Buildings and Valley Garden Conservation Area. 

CMK Planning presented a strong and robust case to the Planning Inspectorate, who ultimately overturned the Council’s decision and the appeal was allowed.
